My take on glitter

I am NOT a glitter person, I have never been... Not even when I was a little girl. I only liked it when doing crafts around this time of the year, you know, the holiday season. However, all the hype going around in YouTube made me feel like I am missing out. I decided to buy a couple of glittery nail polishes, just for the accent finger.

As I was doing my nails this week, I said to myself, "What the ...!" I am going to wear glitter all over my 10 nails. But, hey, I toned it down, anyways.

I first applied Flormar polish (No. 010) and then followed with Topshop Adrenalin. I really liked the pinkish/purplish hue of the glitter on a natural colored polish. I even went ahead and applied 2 coats of glitter on my ring finger! Can you believe it?

If you are not like me, and you want a very concentrated glittery polish, then Topshop Adrenalin may appear diluted for you. But I loved, loved, loved the resulting subtlety.

So don't leave me out please, I finally like glitter!

H&M Nail Polishes - Favorite colors!

When I moved to Dubai, I was happy that there were H&M stores in almost all main shopping malls. I usually only buy tees and basics from H&M ,but I always check what's in store in the accessories department, as well. I guess last year they started carrying makeup products. So, I bought a couple of H&M nail polishes and, honestly, liked the colors and quality, very much!

Below is the favorite blue in my collection; Blue My Mind. It has a hint of violet in it, and that's the very reason I love it! Well, violet and blue tones are my favorite colors, anyway. So it is a total WIN for me :)

 

 

What do you think? They aIf you also have H&M nail polishes, do you have a favorite?

 

 

By the way, I cannot speculate on the longevity of the polish on my nails because I had wait too long between the coats and did lots of cleaning in between. The photo shows the 3-coat version, however, I think it looks quite the same with just 2 coats. Not bad, eh?

I usually shop at H&M in Ibn Battuta but recently they opened another store in Marina Mall, too. There were two of them in Mall of Emirates but one of them has closed down.
